I have been a medical death investigator for the past 15 years. I worked for the Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office for 11 ½ years where I was trained by two of the nation’s top Forensic Pathologists. These doctors taught me everything that I needed to know to conduct medical death investigations independently on their behalf. In 2001 I sat for the board registry exam through the University of St. Louis Medical School and became a board registered Medicolegal Death Investigator with the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators. I am currently one of only 1,269 board registered members nationwide that have achieved this skill level and the only one living in Stevens County. I have been serving Stevens County as a Deputy Coroner since 2011. I am the only coroner candidate that is being endorsed by our current coroner, Patti Hancock. Not every death is a criminal death, but every death deserves a quality independent medical investigation. Most people will never encounter a coroner, but if you do, you want an experienced coroner that will speak for your loved one and tell their final story accurately. I am asking for your vote for Stevens County Coroner.
